This is a position that requires you to be a clean, organized, efficient, multi tasker, and a team player while still being able to manage and delegate. Good communication and people skills are a MUST. You will have the opportunity to exercise your ranch/family style cooking skills as well as your menu planning, plate presentation, budgeting, and ordering skills.
During the summer the cook is responsible for preparing meals for the staff, the guests that are staying in our B&B cabins, weekend chuck wagon dinners, and large corporate events. We serve 3 meals a day to our staff plus breakfast for our cabin guests and as many as several hundred on corporate events.
